I hate being a girl @ this time of the month.
That is all.
What household chore do you hate the most? What's your favorite?
Hands down.. doing the dishes & folding laundry are my least favorite chores.
My FAVORITE chore has to be vacuuming!
I have outgrown my Casio Exilim EX-S770: it takes horrible pictures in poorly lit rooms/when zoomed in & its a measly 7 Megapixels.. I could go on. On top of that I have always wanted a Canon. I am considering the Canon Powershot SD780IS.
- Slim (like my Casio Exilim)
- 12 Megapixels
- HD video recording
- Canon (come on.. amazing photo quality)
- $230 on Amazon
- Higher megapixels & better video quality = larger memory card (currently have a 4 GB will need at least a 8 GB)
- Higher megapixels & better video quality = taking up more space on my hard drive
- Smaller controls (I do have small hands & this isn't really a CON it just may be a problem).
I see you on a daily basis, outside the Michigan Plaza smoking area, usually with your shorts, t-shirt, flip-flops & backwards baseball cap. You're probably about six feet tall, medium build with a very slight belly, and look to be pretty hairy. You're always having a cig with your co-workers, and dude, you are BEAUTIFUL. Weak-in-the-knees sexy. You're probably straight, but on the off-chance that you're not, and see this, shoot me an email.
I'm the bearded guy looking right back at you and giving you a smile."
Alright.. I am starting my new plan today.. err.. well.. kind of today. I am not being regimented either, it is going to be casual so that it is not hard. I am about to go take down my weight & record all that I have done. I will not bog down you all with the nitty gritty, but for now I am planning on losing 10lbs in two weeks.. a very reasonable goal I think. We shall see!
I am so excited to announce that a sorority sister of mine, Melissa P, has made it to the top 11 of the St. Louis auditions for America's Next Top Model! She needs YOUR help by voting for her to make it to the final auditions! I know this seems like a lot to ask of someone who does not know Melissa, but this is an amazing opportunity! All you have to do is register & vote! You can vote up to 30 times an hour, but from my experience I have not been told yet that I have to wait to come back & vote. EVEN ONE VOTE WILL HELP! I will post some pictures of Melissa so you can see for yourself how beautiful & tall :) she is!
Howdy Voxers!
I must apologize for my 2-year hiatus! A lot has came & went in two years.. including all of my sophomore & junior years of college. A boyfriend of a year & some change (he's no longer in the picture). My first practicum experience. Somethings have came into my life as well.. I now work at a daycare during the summers, I also have a credit card that won't seem to go away (along with its balance).
The biggest change in my life has to be three little additions to our family.. my nieces & nephew! They graced us at 36 weeks on December 15, 2008 (my sister-in-law's birthday to be exact). They are triplets & they are now coming up on being 7 months old (this coming Wednesday to be exact :D). I think I shall give you a proper introduction to each one individually:
Holly Lynn (1st born):
William "Liam" John (2nd born):
Megan Delia (3rd born):
Last, but certainly not least, is our Meggy Moo! Megan is the eater & the spitter of the group! Though she could win awards for her spitting up abilities, she is also the heaviest of the bunch! She likes to spend her days watching her brother & sister move about on the floor. Meg will have her day in the sun one day though. She has very good balance & can almost sit upmommy on her own. Her claim to fame is looking just like her (Liam is also a clone of my brother). She has pretty blue-green eyes that look as if they are going to switch to hazel at any moment! She also looks very much like her big sister (& my God-daughter) Bridget.
Speaking of.. here is a recent picture of Miss Bridget, she's absolutely adorable as always & she is enjoying being a big sister to TRIPLETS. She actually took the whole process quite well & I am very proud of her for that :)
Love,
Anna
Hey guys, enjoy!
I don't make my own custom themes because I don't have Photoshop or anything fun, but Vox's themes are not inspiring me to post! Everyday, three to four times a day, I come to Vox hoping there will be some fresh, new, & creative themes to enhance my site. But, everyday, three to four times a day, I am disappointed. The themes are so, ordinary & so impersonal, why should I be inspired to go look at my Vox let alone expect anyone else to look at it?? I don't know, Vox, let's get some good themes going. I want to see more photo themes that are cute & girly instead of pictures with browns & blacks in them so, the whole theme is left in the dark & who really uses those Nokia ones anyway?? They're ugly & they're not even cute phones or cute colors. Okay, so everything can't be cute, but give us something edgy. A bright green phone or some glossy black prints! Also, there is upwards of 20+ Nokia themes alone, not to mention This American Life, Tudors(Obviously, not very good marketing if we don't even know what it is)?? Who uses those? From what I see, your users are fun, edgy, people who love using their own photos in their everyday posts. It is seriously undermining your users' creative side by giving us such drab, uninspired themes.
That is the problem, you want the solution? I would be SO PSYCHED so come to Vox one day & see that we can upload a picture & Vox will resize it for you so, if you (like myself) are unable to resize your picture do to lack of resources you can have Vox do it for you! If that is not a solution, hire someone to design these things. Do a 'Best of Vox' & ask users to submit something that might inspire a designer. Vox, you have great ideas in there! Use some of your 'This is Good' things to inspire some themes. I'd love to see dearbarbz's cupcake in a theme. I would say I'd do it myself, but once again lack of resources & this is not my job. I understand it is hard to run a business, but that is why someone is hired to do this stuff. As much as I love Vox & acknowledge that they go above & beyond the average blogging site, I am now spoiled by you, Vox. I have come to expect greatness. I took your survey that was offered via e-mail & I wish I could take it again because I think my head was so up in the clouds when I took it, that I forgot to put my negatives in along with my abundance of positives.
Can we just get some new themes that actually inspire, instead of seeing animated animals & funny shapes in 8 different colors. Bring some stimulation to my blogging experience!
What is (or would be) your DJ name?
AJam.. ha, I am not so clever.
I did my last speech today. I don't even care how I did as long as I get a C in the class. Right now I have an 88%, so if I do well on the final (I need to do my study guide for it!!) I will pass the class. Do you know how nice it is to have 3 credit hours done for a class I absolutely dreaded?? If I pass though.. haha. I don't know why shouldn't. Tomorrow is my last day of this English class & I will be done with speech on Friday
Yesterday, my friend Antonio & I went downtown. He needed to go to the Art Institute to look at a painting for his class here at the Community College where I am taking my classes. The plan was that he would just run in & get a ticket because that is all he needed to prove he was there. There was a student discount & he didn't have his ID, so I went up to pay for him. To my surprise the lady who was at the ticket counter said college students who attend school in Illinois were free on Tuesdays. How awesome is that? I loved the place & wish we could have stayed longer, but with parking being so expensive ($8 for the first half hour?!?) we had to zip through. I did however get to see two Picaso paintings & some Ansel Adams photographs. Maybe I can go back on another Tuesday, it's such a great deal!
After we left, we walked around the city taking pictures. Thank God I had my camera because I found a new found love of photography. Sure, I took a photography class that I loved. We loaded our own film & developed it & printed & I have messed around with digital photography, but after yesterday I love it even more. I will post some pictures later. I need to get some marks on them so people can't steal them though (you never know) & I am too happy with the results to have someone ruin it by stealing.
Eep.. class starts in three minutes..
xx anna
